How is this different from string floss?

String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.

Will it hurt sensitive gums?

Start on level one, which is tuned for sensitive and healing gums. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.

How often do I replace the nozzles?

Every three months, same as a brush head. Four nozzles come in the box, so that is one per family member, or a full year if it is just you.

Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?

They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

I’m in aligner treatment and this thing is my savior after meals. I pop out the trays, give my mouth a two minute go on level 3, and everything feels clean before the trays go back in. It’s quick to refill and the grip is not slippery which matters when you’re half rushing at work. Coworker asked what it was and now she’s ordering one too. It’s become part of my desk drawer kit with toothpaste and mints.

My teenager actually uses this without me reminding, which is saying something. We both share it by swapping tips and dialing the pressure down for her sensitive gums. The swivel tip is clutch for her wisdom teeth area that’s still a bit sore. She said it doesn’t splash everywhere like the old countertop model we had. Got this for my RV because counter space is a joke in there. It charges up before the weekend and lasts through our short trips, and the pouch keeps it from rolling around in the cabinet. The mid pressure is strong enough to clear out brisket bits after a cookout. My wife likes the lowest setting because her gums bleed easy and she says this doesn’t bother her. We both like how the nozzle spins so we don’t have to do weird angles.
