How is this different from string floss?
String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.
Will it hurt sensitive gums?
Start on level one, which is tuned for sensitive and healing gums. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.
How often do I replace the nozzles?
Every three months, same as a brush head. Four nozzles come in the box, so that is one per family member, or a full year if it is just you.
Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?
They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

I messaged support about replacing a tip and they replied same day with a friendly tone and a link. That gave me confidence to keep using it long term. Cleaning wise it gets the little sesame seeds that hide in my back teeth after sushi night. I start at level 2 then go to 4 for the tough spots. Simple, effective, and easy to travel with.

I like simple stuff and this is straightforward. Fill it, click the button, pick your level, done. The stream is surprisingly precise so I can trace under the gum without blasting my cheeks. After a month I notice less buildup behind my lower teeth where I usually get tartar. Travel pouch is a nice add for keeping it clean in my backpack.

I’m not great at flossing with string because my teeth are tight and it snaps. With this, I just run it along the edges and it frees the stuck bits after meals. The pressure settings make it easy to start gentle then finish strong. My partner noticed my breath is better in the morning which is a win. Recharging is easy and I only need it once a week.

Took this on a 5 day work trip and didn’t need to recharge once. I used the medium power and it felt strong but not harsh. The rotating nozzle actually helps a lot around the bottom front teeth where plaque builds up. I spilled a little the first night because I tilted wrong, but after that it was fine. For the price it does everything I need.
