Because they clean different things. Bristles handle surfaces, the water jet handles the gaps and the gumline. Run both and you cover the whole mouth, and the bundle costs less than picking them up one at a time.
Brush the full two minutes with AuraOne first, then finish with sixty seconds of WaveOne to flush out what the brush loosened.
The brush drops onto its magnetic dock. The flosser tops up over USB and runs for weeks per charge.
Both handles, the drive systems, sensors, and the charging dock, for as long as you own them. Heads and nozzles wear out by design, so those are consumables.

My gums used to sting after brushing and now they don’t. The sensor blinks when I push too hard and I back off. I use the whitening mode before bed and it feels like a dentist clean at home. Battery life is excellent and it sits neatly on my tiny bathroom shelf. My sister borrowed it on a trip and ordered one right away.

I have two kids and mornings are chaos, but this thing makes it easier because I can just pick the gentle mode for them and then switch to my own setting. My daughter likes the little alert when she presses too hard, she laughs and loosens up which is cute and actually helpful. We keep the extra heads in a cup and swap on and off without a hassle. I’ve noticed less buildup behind my lower teeth where I usually miss.

My teen uses the soft head and I use the medium, and the colored rings keep them straight. They joked that the pressure light is like a traffic light and now even I pay attention to it. The battery has been rock solid and charges overnight maybe once every few weeks. My dentist visit went smoother with less scraping. That’s a win in my book.

After a couple of weeks my gums look less red and I haven’t had any new sensitivity. I think the sensor helps me not to overdo it, and I also like the feel of the sonic vibration at the gumline. It kind of forces me to slow down which is good. I swap to deep mode after a big dinner or popcorn night and it clears stuff out well. Would recommend to anyone who wants a cleaner feel without scratching up their mouth.

I travel for softball tournaments and this lives in my duffel. Quick rinse after ballpark snacks and I don’t get that fuzzy tooth feeling. Even on the lowest setting it lifts out popcorn hulls from deep spots. I charge it with the same cable as my other gadgets and it tops up fast. Nice to have something small that still feels sturdy in hand.

Had a crown put in last year and food was constantly sneaking under the edge. This little flosser fixed that headache. The pulse jet pushes everything out and the 360 tip lets me come at it from different angles. I use warm water which makes it feel nicer. Honestly my mouth feels cleaner and my breath stays fresh longer in the day.

What sold me was the pressure sensor because I’ve been told by my dentist that I brush too hard. The gentle buzz to tell me to lighten up has really trained me to be kinder to my gums. I never thought I’d care about multiple modes but I actually use three of them depending on time of day. The travel case is sturdy and actually fits the extra head which is convenient. Overall my mouth feels cleaner and I don’t dread brushing anymore.

After switching from string floss my gums stopped bleeding within a week. I really like how the tip clicks into place and rotates so I can aim it along the gumline. The water tank seems small but it’s enough for me if I move steady. I even used it in the shower to avoid splashing while I was learning. My teen tried it and asked for their own because of braces.
