How is this different from string floss?
String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.
Will it hurt sensitive gums?
Start on level one, which is tuned for sensitive and healing gums. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.
How often do I replace the nozzles?
Every three months, same as a brush head. Four nozzles come in the box, so that is one per family member, or a full year if it is just you.
Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?
They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

Shipping was quick and everything was packed neatly with a clear little guide. I like that it is cordless because our bathroom only has one outlet and it is always full. The battery readout seems accurate and I only charge it when it blinks. Pressure level 4 is my sweet spot for the gum line. I am a skeptic with gadgets, but this one gets used daily.

I have a permanent lower retainer and flossing around it is annoying, so I bought this after seeing a friend use one. It cut my routine in half. Level 2 is perfect before work and level 5 after BBQ nights when stuff gets stuck. The nozzle rotation makes it simple to go around the wire. After three weeks my breath feels fresher in the morning which my partner actually noticed.

Got this after my hygienist suggested water flossing for my bleeding gums. First week I used the lowest setting and noticed the bleeding reduced which surprised me. By week two I bumped to level 3 and I can feel it getting under the gum line around my molars. The tank pops on and off easily for refilling. It is not noisy either which matters because my baby is asleep down the hall.

I ordered this for my mom who has arthritis and struggles with traditional floss. She can hold this comfortably and she uses the gentle setting without discomfort. I switched from string floss after getting a crown and this device has been a nice upgrade for my routine. The lowest setting feels gentle around the new crown while level 4 blasts out everything after popcorn nights. It took two tries to get the angle right, but the rotating tip makes it easy now. The water tank is enough for one full run for me and I just refill if I am being extra thorough. My mouth actually feels cleaner in the mornings.

I had a cheaper flosser before that felt like a toy and the battery died every few days. This one feels sturdier and the stream is more focused so I do not spray the whole mirror. It took me a couple nights to learn to close my lips more and control the angle. Now I can do my whole mouth in about a minute and a half. Honestly it makes bedtime cleanup faster which I appreciate.

My teen has braces and always left food stuck around the brackets. We added this to the bathroom and now it is the first thing he uses after dinner. He keeps it on level 3 while I use level 2 because my gums are sensitive. The rotating nozzle is the key since we can reach the back easily without twisting our wrists. After a month there is a lot less bleeding when brushing.
