How is this different from string floss?
String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.
Will it hurt sensitive gums?
Start on level one, which is tuned for sensitive and healing gums. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.
How often do I replace the nozzles?
Every three months, same as a brush head. Four nozzles come in the box, so that is one per family member, or a full year if it is just you.
Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?
They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

After braces I was left with a retainer that catches food, so I was looking for something portable. This flosser hits all the angles, especially with the 360 tip, and I can actually feel the water cleaning under the wire. I like that the button is right where my thumb sits, so switching levels mid clean is easy. Battery life has been solid, one charge lasted me a week.

I keep this on my desk because I snack a lot while editing videos and stuff gets stuck. With a small cup of warm water it takes under two minutes and I do not taste old food later, sorry gross but true. The tip turns easily so I can get behind the canines without twisting my wrist. Way less hassle than carrying floss picks everywhere.

I had one of those huge tank models before and the noise drove my dog crazy. This one is quieter and I can use it after the baby goes down without waking her. The tank size is enough for me if I do a quick pass, and if I need more I just refill once. Honestly my breath feels cleaner in the morning and I do not dread flossing anymore.

Family of four here and we all tried it. My husband liked level 5 because he wants the strongest jet, my daughter prefers level 1 and says her gums do not hurt. We labeled the tips and keep them in the pouch so they do not get lost. The whole routine adds maybe a minute to brushing, and our bathroom counter finally has fewer cords dangling.

I travel a lot for work and my old countertop unit was too bulky, so I switched to this. It slips into the pouch and fits next to my toiletries without taking the whole bag. In hotel bathrooms the sink space is tiny, but since it is cordless I can move around easily and not fight with cables. Pressure feels strong, especially around the back molars, and my breath feels fresher before meetings.

Been using it morning and night for two weeks and I like the control. On groggy mornings I use level 2 to be gentle, but after popcorn night I crank it to 4 and it clears everything. The water tank is enough for one full clean for me. My partner tried it and now we just swap tips and call it a day. Super simple to rinse out after.

I have crowns and get stuff trapped around the edges, which makes me nervous. This device helps me flush those spots without poking at them. First time I used it I did make a little splash, totally my fault for looking away, but now I lean over the sink and it stays neat. The multiple settings are handy since my gums are sensitive certain days.
