How is this different from string floss?
String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.
Will it hurt sensitive gums?
Start on level one, which is tuned for sensitive and healing gums. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.
How often do I replace the nozzles?
Every three months, same as a brush head. Four nozzles come in the box, so that is one per family member, or a full year if it is just you.
Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?
They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

Bought this after my wisdom tooth extraction healed because I needed something to keep food out of the back gaps. It’s been great. I can angle the tip without contorting my arm and the pulse is strong but not painful. I travel twice a month and the pouch keeps everything tidy. I even got my dad to try it and he asked to borrow it, which says a lot.

I have very sensitive gums and was nervous, but the lowest setting is gentle. After two weeks I noticed less bleeding and the little pocket near my canine feels cleaner. I like that I can rotate the nozzle to hit the gumline instead of blasting straight on. Charge time is short, and it hasn’t leaked in my bag. Super satisfied with how simple it is.

I had a cheap flosser before that sprayed everywhere and felt harsh. This one is way more controlled. I started on level 1 then moved to 2 for daily and it’s perfect. I can turn the tip while it’s running to switch sides which sounds small but helps a lot. I like to use it in the shower so cleanup is zero mess. Definitely keeping this in my routine.

I keep this in my work drawer because I get spinach stuck in my teeth at lunch all the time. Fill from the break room sink, quick rinse, done. It’s discreet enough, and the travel pouch keeps it from touching random stuff. The angled tip helps me get behind my bottom retainer wire. Only minor gripe is the tank could be a tad bigger, but it’s a tradeoff for the compact size.

My teenager has aligners and this has been a lifesaver after meals. We keep it on the kitchen counter charged and he uses level 4 after dinner. The pulse jet really knocks out the food around the attachments. We’ve had it a month and the battery hasn’t died mid use once. The pouch is nice for sleepovers so pieces don’t get lost.
