How is this different from string floss?
String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.
Will it hurt sensitive gums?
Start on Soft at the lowest pressure level. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down, and the flosser remembers the mode you used last. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.
How often do I replace the nozzles?
Every three months, same as a brush head. Four tips come in the box, standard jets plus a tongue scraper for fresher breath.
Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?
They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

After a month of use I’m impressed. Morning coffee breath used to hang around and now it doesn’t. I keep pressure at 2 for daily use and bump to 4 after popcorn or chips. I switched from string floss because my gums were always sore and I honestly dreaded it. This device made it easier to stick to a routine. I start on the lowest level then bump it up around the back teeth and the rotating tip makes it simple to go all around without splashing everywhere. After about two weeks my breath felt fresher in the mornings and I wasn’t spitting blood after brushing anymore. I toss it in the little pouch when I travel for work and it has not leaked so far. Solid buy.
