How is this different from string floss?
String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.
Will it hurt sensitive gums?
Start on Soft at the lowest pressure level. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down, and the flosser remembers the mode you used last. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.
How often do I replace the nozzles?
Every three months, same as a brush head. Four tips come in the box, standard jets plus a tongue scraper for fresher breath.
Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?
They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

I travel a lot for work and hotel sinks are always tiny, but this fits fine and the pouch keeps the nozzle clean. It rotates 360 so I can get the inside surfaces without doing weird arm gymnastics. I keep it next to the sink and use it at night while the tub is filling for my kids. It’s cordless which is a big deal in our cramped bathroom. The nozzle turns so I’m not twisting my wrist like with my old model. I noticed less bleeding after four days and my morning breath is better. Cleaning the tank is simple and I love that it came with a little pouch for travel.

My husband made fun of me for ordering another bathroom gadget and now he steals it every morning. We both like different pressure levels so it’s nice to switch on the fly. I had a crown last year and get food caught on one side constantly. This little thing gets it out without jabbing a toothpick and annoying my gum.
