How is this different from string floss?
String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.
Will it hurt sensitive gums?
Start on level one, which is tuned for sensitive and healing gums. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.
How often do I replace the nozzles?
Every three months, same as a brush head. Four nozzles come in the box, so that is one per family member, or a full year if it is just you.
Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?
They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

My kid has a retainer and food gets trapped constantly, so we tried this to help after dinner. The targeted stream is strong enough to push everything out without him complaining. He starts on level 2 and I go to level 4 and neither of us has gum soreness. The tank clicks in firmly and doesn’t drip. Finally something we both use without arguing.

I travel a lot for work and hotel sinks are always tiny, but this fits fine and the pouch keeps the nozzle clean. It rotates 360 so I can get the inside surfaces without doing weird arm gymnastics. Battery has lasted through two trips on one charge. I feel way more confident going into meetings without worrying about lunch stuck in my teeth. It’s now part of my airport routine.

Shipping was quick and the packaging wasn’t over the top which I appreciated. Setup took less than five minutes. I did a warm salt rinse in the tank after a dental procedure and it was gentle enough to not irritate the stitches. The swivel nozzle helps me hit the backs of my molars without clicking my jaw. Overall very happy and using it daily.

I was skeptical because I tried a cheap one before and it leaked everywhere. This device didn’t leak and felt much more solid. I like that I can click the pressure up for the front teeth and turn it down near my gums that get sore. My teen borrowed it after braces adjustments and said it helped a lot. Only tiny gripe is I had to read the small print on the quick guide, but once set up it’s been great.

I keep it next to the sink and use it at night while the tub is filling for my kids. It’s cordless which is a big deal in our cramped bathroom. The nozzle turns so I’m not twisting my wrist like with my old model. I noticed less bleeding after four days and my morning breath is better. Cleaning the tank is simple and I love that it came with a little pouch for travel.

After a crown last year I struggled to clean around it and regular floss kept shredding. This solved that problem right away. The pulse jet actually blasts out tiny food bits I didn’t know were stuck. I started on level 1 then moved to level 3 and that feels just right. Charge lasts me eight or nine days and it’s not too loud, sort of a soft buzz. For me it’s a keeper.

Bought for camping trips so I could keep up with dental care without lugging my big plug in unit. The compact size and wireless design are exactly what I needed. I used it in a small RV sink with no issue, though I did splash the mirror once when I looked away. The rotating head is surprisingly useful in tight spaces. If the water tank were a hair bigger it would be perfect, but one refill is fine.
