How is this different from string floss?

String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.

Will it hurt sensitive gums?

Start on Soft at the lowest pressure level. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down, and the flosser remembers the mode you used last. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.

How often do I replace the nozzles?

Every three months, same as a brush head. Four tips come in the box, standard jets plus a tongue scraper for fresher breath.

Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?

This device has become part of my night routine after the kids are in bed. I can do my whole mouth in under two minutes and I actually look forward to it because my mouth feels super clean. Braces plus regular floss is a pain so this has been a relief. I start at level 2 and move around the brackets, then switch to 4 to finish. It takes the gunk out from lunch which used to embarrass me. The tip swivels so I can reach without drooling everywhere, although there is still a bit of splash if I rush. Overall it makes orthodontic life easier.
