I have sensitive gums and string floss always made them bleed. Level one on this is gentler than floss ever was, and after a month I am up to level three with no bleeding at all.

How is this different from string floss?
String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.
Will it hurt sensitive gums?
Start on Soft at the lowest pressure level. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down, and the flosser remembers the mode you used last. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.
How often do I replace the nozzles?
Every three months, same as a brush head. Four tips come in the box, standard jets plus a tongue scraper for fresher breath.
Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?
They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

I do Invisalign and food gets trapped after popcorn night. This flosser on level 4 lifts it out in seconds and I can reach the back with the rotating nozzle without smacking the tray. The tank size is fine and I refill once if I’m being extra picky. Battery life surprised me since I haven’t charged it in nine days and it’s still going. It’s become a habit right before I put trays back in.

My partner is skeptical of gadgets but even he admits this one works. He likes blasting it on level 5 which I find too strong so I stay at 2 or 3. We just swap the tip and it’s fine. Nozzles click in tightly and don’t wobble. I spilled once because I filled it too full while the lid was open so that’s on me. Otherwise it’s been a solid addition to our sink.

Bought it for travel but I’m using it twice a day now. I have a couple tight contacts where food packs and the precision pulse actually gets in there without me having to force anything. I rotate the tip as I move around my mouth and it makes a big difference especially on the inner sides. The charging port is simple and it topped up fast from a power bank on a camping trip. Very happy so far.

I work night shifts and needed something fast before bed. This flosser takes maybe one minute and leaves no string cuts on my fingers. The motor has a smooth hum and the jet feels focused instead of splashy. I like that they included a pouch because I keep it in my locker between shifts. After two weeks my hygienist said keep doing whatever you’re doing which made me laugh.

After a crown last year I got more serious about cleaning. This little unit reaches around the crown edges and I can feel the difference along the gumline, kind of like a tingle but not harsh. My teen has sensitive gums so we start on level 1 then bump to level 2 by the weekend. The gentle pulse is comfortable but still clears out the corners around her brackets. I appreciate that the nozzle turns all the way around so I don’t have to contort my arm to reach the last molar. We charge it on Sunday night and it’s still going by Friday. Cleanup is quick with a rinse and a towel.

I switched from a bulky countertop flosser to this portable one and I’m not looking back. The tank isn’t huge but it’s enough for a full clean on medium pressure and I like that the nozzle rotates so I can hit the back teeth without twisting my wrist. It clicks through the pressure levels quickly which is nice when my gums feel a little tender. Battery has lasted me a week on a single charge using it nightly. Easy to clean and no weird plastic smell out of the box.
