How is this different from string floss?

String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.

Will it hurt sensitive gums?

Start on Soft at the lowest pressure level. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down, and the flosser remembers the mode you used last. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.

How often do I replace the nozzles?

Every three months, same as a brush head. Four tips come in the box, standard jets plus a tongue scraper for fresher breath.

Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?

I travel for work Monday to Thursday and needed something compact. The pouch fits the unit and charger neatly, and it hasn’t leaked in my suitcase yet. Battery life has been about 6 days for me on medium power. I like that I can rotate the nozzle in my left hand because my right wrist aches sometimes.
