How is this different from string floss?

String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.

Will it hurt sensitive gums?

Start on Soft at the lowest pressure level. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down, and the flosser remembers the mode you used last. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.

How often do I replace the nozzles?

Every three months, same as a brush head. Four tips come in the box, standard jets plus a tongue scraper for fresher breath.

Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?

They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

Shipping was fast and the box included clear instructions. I like that the button is not overly sensitive because I grip it tight. The water stream has a pulsing feel that seems to knock out everything after corn on the cob night. I rinse the tank after each use and it still looks new. Would gift this to my sister who travels for work.

I had braces as a kid and still have crowded lowers, so flossing is annoying. This made it way simpler. I keep it in the shower to contain any drips and it works great there. The battery goes a week for me. My breath in the morning is noticeably better and my partner mentioned it without me asking which was funny.

I bought this after getting food stuck between a crown and my gum one too many times. The different pressure levels are actually useful, I start low around the crown and then bump it up for the front teeth. The nozzle spins so I can angle it without twisting my wrist. Battery life is better than I expected and the travel bag keeps it from spraying random stuff in my suitcase. My mouth feels cleaner than with floss alone.

After a cleaning my hygienist suggested water flossing to help with a deep pocket. Two weeks with this and I can tell a difference. This device made quick work of the spaces my retainer never seems to reach. I like to start on setting 3, then finish on 5 for the back molars. It pops into the charger and I only need to charge every few days. The handle is comfortable and the rotating tip is surprisingly helpful when I’m half awake.
