How is this different from string floss?
String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.
Will it hurt sensitive gums?
Start on Soft at the lowest pressure level. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down, and the flosser remembers the mode you used last. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.
How often do I replace the nozzles?
Every three months, same as a brush head. Four tips come in the box, standard jets plus a tongue scraper for fresher breath.
Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?
They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

I travel for work three days a week so portability was key. The little pouch keeps the tip and charger in one place and it fits in my backpack side pocket. On the road I use bottled water and it still works fine. Pressure level 3 is my sweet spot. The tank is enough for a quick clean but if I eat steak I refill it once. Not a big deal. My gums bled the first two uses then stopped, which I think means it is actually doing something.

I have a dental bridge on the upper left and always struggled to clean under it. This little unit has solved that problem. The precision jet gets right under the edge and rinses everything out. I like that it is cordless so I can move freely and not deal with a base. The results are obvious because my gums around the bridge no longer feel tender.

Customer service was helpful when I asked about replacement tips. They replied quickly and sent a link with options. I was nervous to try a water flosser because my gums are sensitive, but starting on the lowest setting worked great. After a week I moved to level 2 and it still feels gentle. The handle is simple with just a couple buttons and the stream is focused enough to get into the spaces by my wisdom tooth area. I used mint mouthwash diluted once and it felt super fresh.

I’ve tried a couple of cheaper ones that felt weak or sputtery. This one has a consistent pulse and the five levels actually feel different, not just on or off. I use level 3 daily and crank it higher for steak night. The compact size is perfect for my small bathroom shelf. It’s not fancy, just works well and keeps my gums happy.
