How is this different from string floss?
String floss scrapes. WaveOne flushes. The jet gets below the gumline and into tight contacts where string just bends away. A full pass takes about a minute, which is exactly why people stick with it.
Will it hurt sensitive gums?
Start on level one, which is tuned for sensitive and healing gums. Most people move up a level or two after a few weeks as things calm down. Got active dental work? Ask your dentist first.
How often do I replace the nozzles?
Every three months, same as a brush head. Four nozzles come in the box, so that is one per family member, or a full year if it is just you.
Do I need this if I already have AuraOne?
They do different jobs. The brush handles surfaces, the flosser clears out below the gumline and between teeth. Run both and it is the closest thing to a hygienist visit you can do at home. The Duo Bundle exists for exactly that reason.

I was worried it would be loud, but it’s actually pretty quiet so I can use it early without waking the baby. The stream pulses just enough to knock out food between my tight teeth. I appreciate the different pressure levels since my front gums are sensitive but my molars need more power. Build quality feels solid for a small device. Would buy again.

I messaged customer service about getting extra tips and they replied the same day with a link, super straightforward. The product itself feels intuitive, one button to cycle the strength and it remembers my last setting. My breath is better in the morning and I don’t dread flossing like before. Even my coffee stains look a little less obvious around the gums. Happy with the buy.

My teen has braces and we were constantly fighting about flossing, but this made it less of a chore. He actually uses it after dinner because it’s faster and he likes the clicky button and the swivel tip. We share the base but use our own tips, and it’s been easy to keep clean. The water stream is strong enough to pull out tortilla chips stuck in the brackets. I’m seeing fewer irritated spots on his gums.

My teen son and I share it with different tips and it’s been a good addition to our evenings. He’s got braces and says it helps under the wires where a brush can’t go. I bought this after seeing a coworker use something similar at the office and wow, it fits right into my night routine. The pressure settings make it easy for my sensitive gums and I switch to a higher level if I had corn on the cob. The water tank is enough for a full pass around my mouth and the rotating nozzle helped me finally clean around a stubborn back tooth. Battery life has been solid for two weeks.
