Because they clean different things. Bristles handle surfaces, the water jet handles the gaps and the gumline. Run both and you cover the whole mouth, and the bundle costs less than picking them up one at a time.
Brush the full two minutes with AuraOne first, then finish with sixty seconds of WaveOne to flush out what the brush loosened.
The brush charges over USB C with the cable in the box. The flosser charges over USB C too, with its own cable in the box.
Both handles, the motors, the batteries, and the electronics, for as long as you own them. Heads and nozzles wear out by design, so those are consumables.

I switched from a cheap manual brush after my hygienist scolded me for scrubbing too hard and this device immediately helped. The pressure sensor flashes when I start pressing down and it makes me lighten up. I use the clean mode in the morning and sensitive at night, and swap to the firm head after coffee days. The battery easily lasts about 10 days for me. The travel case feels sturdy and kept everything tidy during a weekend wedding trip.

It cleans fine but the travel case latch is kind of fiddly and the LED is too bright at night. Also wish the mode beep was quieter. Not a deal breaker but a bit annoying.

I’ve tried a couple other sonic brushes and this one feels the most balanced for me. The five modes are actually useful rather than gimmicks. I keep it on clean most days and switch to sensitive when my gums act up. The pressure indicator is gentle but clear and it helped me fix my bad habit of pressing too hard. Battery has gone almost two weeks between charges and the little travel case made my weekend trip easy. No app, no fuss, just consistent brushing.

Cleans fine but the handle is a bit slippery with toothpaste foam and I wish the power button had a tiny texture. The travel case hinge also squeaks, not a big deal but kind of annoying for the price.

After my last electric brush died mid vacation I bought this for the battery claims and the travel case. It survived two flights and got tossed in a backpack with no issues. I only charged it once before I left and it still had power when I came back a week later. The pressure light is bright enough to notice without being annoying. My dentist appointment went smoother than usual and the hygienist said to keep doing whatever I’m doing.

Traveling nurse here, the case and long battery make it perfect. No frills, just clean teeth.
