Because they clean different things. Bristles handle surfaces, the water jet handles the gaps and the gumline. Run both and you cover the whole mouth, and the bundle costs less than picking them up one at a time.
Brush the full two minutes with AuraOne first, then finish with sixty seconds of WaveOne to flush out what the brush loosened.
The brush drops onto its magnetic dock. The flosser tops up over USB and runs for weeks per charge.
Both handles, the drive systems, sensors, and the charging dock, for as long as you own them. Heads and nozzles wear out by design, so those are consumables.

I switched from a basic battery brush to this and the difference was obvious on day one. The vibration feels smooth instead of buzzy and the pressure light taught me I was pressing way too hard. I use the normal mode in the morning and the gentle one before bed. The medium head is my favorite and the timer pulses help me not rush the molars. Battery has gone almost three weeks on one charge and the little travel case actually fits in my dopp kit.

Bought this for my college kid who never times his brushing and the built in pacing made a difference. He texted me that the light flashes if he presses too hard and that it actually helped with gum soreness. The battery gets him through long weeks in the dorm, and the case kept it safe in his backpack during a weekend trip. Now I want one for myself.

I do Invisalign and food gets trapped after popcorn night. This flosser on level 4 lifts it out in seconds and I can reach the back with the rotating nozzle without smacking the tray. The tank size is fine and I refill once if I’m being extra picky. Battery life surprised me since I haven’t charged it in nine days and it’s still going. It’s become a habit right before I put trays back in.

I’m a coffee fiend and usually feel that film on my teeth by lunchtime, but since switching to this device they stay slick longer. The deep mode is powerful but not harsh, and the pressure warning keeps me from scrubbing my gums raw. The battery is a champ so I do not have to bring the charger when I go on short trips. Packaging was simple and recyclable which I liked.

I switched from a bulky countertop flosser to this portable one and I’m not looking back. The tank isn’t huge but it’s enough for a full clean on medium pressure and I like that the nozzle rotates so I can hit the back teeth without twisting my wrist. It clicks through the pressure levels quickly which is nice when my gums feel a little tender. Battery has lasted me a week on a single charge using it nightly. Easy to clean and no weird plastic smell out of the box.

Coffee stains gone in five weeks on white mode. My dentist asked if I had them professionally polished. Battery is absurd - I charged it once the entire time.

I like the 5 pressure settings, low is gentle enough for my gums. Battery seems to last a good while.
