Because they clean different things. Bristles handle surfaces, the water jet handles the gaps and the gumline. Run both and you cover the whole mouth, and the bundle costs less than picking them up one at a time.
Brush the full two minutes with AuraOne first, then finish with sixty seconds of WaveOne to flush out what the brush loosened.
The brush drops onto its magnetic dock. The flosser tops up over USB and runs for weeks per charge.
Both handles, the drive systems, sensors, and the charging dock, for as long as you own them. Heads and nozzles wear out by design, so those are consumables.

I like the polish mode after curry nights, feels like it buffs the surface. Pressure light taught my teenager not to scrub like a maniac. The medium head is a sweet spot for the whole family. Worth it for the comfort alone.

The pressure sensor actually helped me stop pressing too hard. My gums don’t bleed now.

I switched to this after my old brush died in the middle of a trip and I’ve been impressed. The five modes are actually useful and not just fluff. I use gentle in the morning and deep clean at night. The pressure light saved me from my usual heavy hand, and my gums don’t bleed now. Battery life has been excellent and the case feels sturdy in my backpack.

I switched from a basic battery brush and the difference was immediate. The pressure guidance keeps me from grinding the bristles into my gums which I used to do, and the five modes are actually useful rather than gimmicky. I use clean most days and sensitive when my mouth feels tender after popcorn nights. The battery has lasted three weeks so far and the travel case made my last work trip easier since everything stayed organized in my backpack. It’s simple and it works.

After my last cleaning the hygienist suggested an electric brush and recommended looking for one with pressure control. This has exactly that and it’s made me rethink how hard I used to scrub. The deep mode makes my molars feel squeaky and the daily mode is fine for mornings. I emailed support about how often to change heads and they sent a helpful chart. No regrets at all.

Had a crown done and was nervous to brush around it. The gentle setting felt safe and the pressure alert helped me keep it light. After a couple weeks I’m back on normal and everything feels clean. The motor is steady and not screechy.

I read a bunch of reviews and took a chance because my gums were sore from pressing too hard. The light that kicks on when I push too much pressure is kind of genius, and after a week I barely trigger it anymore. My partner actually commented that my breath seemed fresher in the morning which was a first. Battery life is legit, still going after 12 days. I like the soft head at night and firm in the morning.

I bought two, one for me and one for my teen who hates brushing. The buzz and the simple button actually got him to use it longer. We both like that it is not super loud, and the pressure warning keeps him from sawing at his gums. I swapped to the firm head once to try it and it was too much for me, but options are nice. After six weeks no issues and still holding a charge.

I switched from a basic battery brush after my dentist said my gums looked irritated. The pressure sensor on this one nudges me to ease up and I actually listen because the light blinks right away. I tried all three heads and settled on the soft with daily mode, but on pizza nights I hit deep clean and it really lifts the gunk. After three weeks the battery still shows plenty left, which is handy because I forget to charge stuff. Shipping was quick and the box had clear instructions.
