Because they clean different things. Bristles handle surfaces, the water jet handles the gaps and the gumline. Run both and you cover the whole mouth, and the bundle costs less than picking them up one at a time.
Brush the full two minutes with AuraOne first, then finish with sixty seconds of WaveOne to flush out what the brush loosened.
The brush charges over USB C with the cable in the box. The flosser charges over USB C too, with its own cable in the box.
Both handles, the motors, the batteries, and the electronics, for as long as you own them. Heads and nozzles wear out by design, so those are consumables.

Took a couple days to adjust to the sonic vibration tickle but then I loved it. The timer routine makes the whole thing feel done and I stop guessing if I brushed enough. I like that the heads pop on and off without a fight. Feels like a small upgrade to my day.

After two months of twice a day brushing this thing still feels solid with no weird vibrations. The timer pulses every 30 seconds so I cover all quadrants and it became automatic fast. I used the firm head once and it was a bit much for me, but my husband loves it, so the variety is nice. Charging is easy and I only plug it in maybe every three weeks. I’ve noticed less plaque at my gumline which was my main goal.

I bought this during a sale after my last electric brush died and I’m really happy with it. The controls are simple, one button to cycle modes, and it remembers what I used last. The included brush heads are actually useful, not cheap extras. My wife uses the soft head, I use medium. The timer pulses every 30 seconds which helped me realize I was rushing the back molars. It’s not perfect, the charging cord could be a tad longer, but small thing.
