Because they clean different things. Bristles handle surfaces, the water jet handles the gaps and the gumline. Run both and you cover the whole mouth, and the bundle costs less than picking them up one at a time.
Brush the full two minutes with AuraOne first, then finish with sixty seconds of WaveOne to flush out what the brush loosened.
The brush charges over USB C with the cable in the box. The flosser charges over USB C too, with its own cable in the box.
Both handles, the motors, the batteries, and the electronics, for as long as you own them. Heads and nozzles wear out by design, so those are consumables.

After my teen got braces we needed something gentle but effective, so we tried this device. The included soft head makes a big difference around the brackets, and the built in timer nudges him to move around his mouth evenly. Setup was literally just plug in and go, no app stuff to mess with which makes my life easier. The case keeps the extra heads from rolling around our bathroom drawer. We’re both impressed with how clean his teeth look between orthodontist visits.

Got it as a gift from my sister after I complained about bleeding gums. Two weeks in and the bleeding is gone, breath is fresher, and I actually floss more because everything feels cleaner to start with. The timer makes me stay in each area long enough. Very satisfied so far.

I was skeptical about another electric brush, but the customizable modes actually matter. My wife uses sensitive and I use the standard clean, and we swap brush heads easily. The timer pulses keep me honest in each quadrant, and the pressure light trained me out of my bad habit after about three days. It’s not flashy, it just cleans really well and the handle feels solid but not heavy. Charging once a couple weeks is all I’ve needed.

The first time I used it I was surprised how gentle but thorough it felt, especially along the back molars. I like the built in timer because I used to rush through brushing. Now I actually hit the full 2 minutes and my mouth feels cleaner at work. Charging is straightforward, and I keep the case in my desk so I can pack it quickly for last minute trips. Overall it’s simple, which is exactly what I wanted.
