Mom has sensitive gums and borrowed it for a weekend. She asked me to order her one after because it did not make her bleed. For me the polish mode after lunch is perfect before Zoom calls. I grind my teeth at night so my gums can be touchy in the morning. The soft head plus sensitive mode is actually pleasant and still leaves that smooth glass feel. The handle is light but not flimsy. I picked this up after my old electric quit on a business trip and it was a pleasant surprise. The case is sturdy and slides into my backpack pocket without rattling. I mainly use the standard mode but switch to gentle when my gums feel tender. The pressure light coached me out of my bad habit of pressing hard and my gums stopped bleeding after three days.
