Because they clean different things. Bristles handle surfaces, the water jet handles the gaps and the gumline. Run both and you cover the whole mouth, and the bundle costs less than picking them up one at a time.
Brush the full two minutes with AuraOne first, then finish with sixty seconds of WaveOne to flush out what the brush loosened.
The brush charges over USB C with the cable in the box. The flosser charges over USB C too, with its own cable in the box.
Both handles, the motors, the batteries, and the electronics, for as long as you own them. Heads and nozzles wear out by design, so those are consumables.

I travel for nursing contracts so size and battery matter. I keep this in the included pouch with a small bottle I refill. On long shifts my gums used to bleed a bit, now they don’t. The pulse feels strong but controlled and there’s no cord to fight with in tiny bathrooms. I rinse it, air dry, toss it in the bag, super easy.

I travel for work and needed something reliable with a case. This device fits into my backpack without rattling around and the cap keeps the brush clean. I rotate between the sensitive and white modes depending on coffee days. The vibration feels strong but not harsh and the handle is easy to rinse. After two weeks my teeth feel smoother along the gum line and I’ve had zero issues with charging.

I travel for work every other week and this has been perfect because the battery easily makes it through multiple trips. The case fits the handle and an extra head without cramming, and it slides into my backpack sleeve. At home I like using the gum care mode after flossing, it feels like a massage. The pressure sensor light saved me from my old habit of pressing down like a scrub brush. It’s just simple and consistent, which is what I wanted.

Been using it for a month and the timing pulses helped me actually brush the full two minutes instead of rushing. The medium head is my daily pick and the polish mode lifts the tea stains better than my old brush. It charges fast and the indicator is clear. Only minor thing is the travel case hinge feels a bit stiff at first, but it loosened up after a week. Overall, clean teeth without overthinking it.

I switched from string floss because my gums were getting sore and honestly I was skipping nights. This device made it easier for me to stay consistent. I start on level 2 then bump to 3 for the back teeth, and the pulse jet gets little food bits my floss always missed. The tip rotates so I can angle it behind my lower retainer. Battery has gone 10 days so far and I just dry it and stick it in the pouch when I travel.
