I have sensitive gums from time to time and the soft head plus the low setting are perfect. On weekends I use the stronger mode and it feels like a professional clean. I run and drink a lot of sports drinks so my teeth feel sticky sometimes. The deep clean mode really clears that up without making my gums sore. The case went on a camping trip and kept the brush heads clean which matters more than I realized. Still on the first charge after almost two weeks.
