My gums are finicky, so I started on the soft head with gentle mode. After a week I moved up to clean mode and it still felt comfy. The device nudges me if I push too hard, which is exactly what I needed. Even my dentist commented that my flossing looked better, and honestly I didn’t change much else. Bought this after my sister recommended it and I’m glad I did. The firm head plus deep clean mode is great after eating popcorn because it gets those little hulls out around the back teeth. The light that tells you to ease up is helpful, I used to rush and push too hard. Battery seems to last about three weeks for me. I tossed the old charger and just keep this one plugged by the mirror.
