I started using this after a root canal and wanted something kinder to my gums. The gentle setting was perfect during the first week, and then I worked up to normal clean. I bought this for my daughter going to college and ended up ordering a second for myself. She loves the travel case because dorm bathrooms are gross and this keeps everything clean.
