My 8 year old thinks the light is cool and it actually encouraged him to not mash the brush into his teeth. We set it on sensitive mode for him and standard for me and it remembers the last mode which is convenient. The travel case kept everything organized on our camping trip where there was dust everywhere. It’s also quiet enough that it didn’t wake the baby during bedtime routine.
