Because they clean different things. Bristles handle surfaces, the water jet handles the gaps and the gumline. Run both and you cover the whole mouth, and the bundle costs less than picking them up one at a time.
Brush the full two minutes with AuraOne first, then finish with sixty seconds of WaveOne to flush out what the brush loosened.
The brush charges over USB C with the cable in the box. The flosser charges over USB C too, with its own cable in the box.
Both handles, the motors, the batteries, and the electronics, for as long as you own them. Heads and nozzles wear out by design, so those are consumables.

I’ve used a few electric brushes before and this one feels the most straightforward. No app or weird features, just pick a mode and go. The medium head is perfect for me, and the firm one was great after a sticky BBQ night. The timer pulses help me switch quadrants without thinking. Battery life has been strong and the charging base is small on my tiny bathroom shelf. Overall it’s an easy upgrade from what I had.

I keep this on my bathroom shelf and it’s become part of my night routine after putting the kids to bed. The timer pulses help me move around my mouth better than I ever did with a manual. I used to get sore spots near my molars, and the pressure alert nudges me to back off which was honestly my main issue. The travel case went with me to a weekend soccer tournament and survived a muddy backpack just fine. Mouth feels smoother everywhere and morning breath is way less intense.

My husband and I share the handle and swap the heads, which click on tight and don’t wobble. He prefers the powerful mode while I live in gentle most nights, so having both options on one device works for us. The timer pulses help me actually hit each section evenly. After about two weeks my coffee stains look lighter and my gums are calmer. No app to fuss with, which is perfect.

As someone with sensitive gum lines I was worried about power but it is easy to control. The pressure sensor glows when I press too hard and I back off without thinking. I use the soft head and sensitive mode on weekdays and a stronger mode after BBQ nights. The timer keeps me from rushing and I finally hit the full two minutes. Honestly I just wanted clean teeth without fuss and this does that.
