Because they clean different things. Bristles handle surfaces, the water jet handles the gaps and the gumline. Run both and you cover the whole mouth, and the bundle costs less than picking them up one at a time.
Brush the full two minutes with AuraOne first, then finish with sixty seconds of WaveOne to flush out what the brush loosened.
The brush charges over USB C with the cable in the box. The flosser charges over USB C too, with its own cable in the box.
Both handles, the motors, the batteries, and the electronics, for as long as you own them. Heads and nozzles wear out by design, so those are consumables.

My partner and I share the handle and just keep our own heads in the included case. The device is quiet which matters because we have different schedules. I was worried about the modes being confusing but it is literally a single button to cycle through and you can feel the difference. The pressure sensor helped me realize I was a bruxer even brushing. After a month I am noticing less bleeding and my breath stays fresh longer.

My sister recommended this after I complained about my old brush being noisy and annoying. This one is quiet and I don’t feel like my skull is rattling. The pressure alert trains you fast, it blinked at me the first few days and now barely ever. I appreciate the three head options because my partner prefers the firm one, while I stick to soft. Packaging was neat and recycling was easy. Mouth feels slick every time.

I picked this up after my hygienist kept telling me to stop scrubbing so hard. The pressure sensor light is exactly what I needed because it flashes when I push too much and then I back off. I started with the soft head and gentle mode for a week, then moved to the medium head and clean mode. The heads click on firmly and the handle feels solid. Battery life has been almost three weeks for me brushing twice a day. No app, no fuss, just a reliable brush that leaves my teeth slick.

My dentist said less plaque at my checkup. I think the timer and pressure light helped.

I switched from a basic manual brush after my hygienist suggested trying sonic cleaning, and I’m honestly impressed. The gentle mode was perfect the first week while I got used to the feel, then I moved up to clean and white for coffee stains. The pressure sensor taught me I was pressing way too hard, which explains my sore gums before. Now brushing feels easy and I finish with my mouth feeling smooth, like after a cleaning. Also the travel case is actually sturdy, not flimsy plastic, and the battery hasn’t died on me once in two and a half weeks.

The best part for me is consistency. It remembers my last mode and the pressure reminder keeps me from scrubbing like I used to, so my receding gumline hasn’t gotten worse according to my dentist. The charging is painless and I only plug it in every couple of weeks. Also props to customer support for answering a question about replacement heads fast and nicely. It’s just easy to live with.

I was skeptical since my last electric brush felt too harsh, but the different modes here let me find a balance. I started on the lowest setting and moved up as I got used to it. The pressure sensor is subtle but it stopped me from scrubbing like I used to. I also like having soft and firm heads in the box because my spouse prefers firm and I don’t. Shipping was quick and the packaging wasn’t wasteful, which I appreciate.

I bought this after my old sonic brush died mid trip and I’m glad I did. The travel case fits in my backpack pocket and kept everything clean through airports. I like the pressure light because it reminds me to chill out when I get rushed in the morning. I’ve tried three modes so far and keep coming back to the daily one with the medium head. After two weeks my partner said my teeth look brighter, which was nice.
