Had an older sonic brush that buzzed too harsh and made my gums sore. With this one I started on gentle for a week then bumped up and it never hurt. The pressure light blinks if I get carried away which is honestly helpful when I’m half asleep. My wife noticed my breath is better in the morning. I swapped from a big plug in unit because I wanted less clutter around my sink. The cordless design made me nervous about power but it’s strong on setting 4 and 5. I like the pulse feel since it seems to nudge stuff out rather than just blasting. The water reservoir snaps in firmly, and even when I tilt it upside down to reach the top teeth it doesn’t cut out. After two weeks my gums look calmer and I’m not seeing red in the sink.

I switched from a basic manual brush because my gums were bleeding a little, and after two weeks with this I can tell the difference. The soft head plus the gentle mode feels kind, but my teeth still feel slick when I run my tongue over them. I have receding gums so I’m wary of strong water flossers, but the low setting on this device is gentle enough while still pushing out little bits that floss always misses.
