Because they clean different things. Bristles handle surfaces, the water jet handles the gaps and the gumline. Run both and you cover the whole mouth, and the bundle costs less than picking them up one at a time.
Brush the full two minutes with AuraOne first, then finish with sixty seconds of WaveOne to flush out what the brush loosened.
The brush charges over USB C with the cable in the box. The flosser charges over USB C too, with its own cable in the box.
Both handles, the motors, the batteries, and the electronics, for as long as you own them. Heads and nozzles wear out by design, so those are consumables.

The pressure sensor keeps me from pressing too hard and my gums stopped bleeding after a week. Battery lasts forever between charges.

Picked this up for travel because my old brush died mid trip and it was annoying. This one lasted through two business trips with battery to spare and the case actually fits extra heads and a small tube of paste. I like that there’s no app to fuss with in hotel Wi Fi, just click and go. It’s strong enough to feel effective but not too buzzy. Only nitpick is the finish shows fingerprints if your hands are wet.

Customer support helped me figure out the pressure light in like five minutes, very friendly. I misread the little guide and thought it was defective, but nope I was just pressing like a maniac. Since easing up my gums stopped bleeding and the clean feels just as good. The battery indicator seems accurate and I only charge every 10 days or so. Overall very happy and keeping it in my gym bag when I shower there.

I picked this up after my hygienist told me to stop scrubbing like a maniac. The pressure light blinks when I push too hard and it trained me in about three days. I rotate between clean and sensitive modes depending on coffee days and honestly it keeps things simple. Battery has lasted me 18 days so far with two uses a day. The case is slim and fits in my tote without poking everything else.

I bought this after my hygienist suggested I switch to a sonic brush, and I’m honestly impressed. The five modes sound like overkill but I rotate between clean and sensitive depending on how my gums feel that day. The pressure light taught me I was pressing way too hard, and now my gums don’t ache. The battery life surprised me, I get almost a month per charge and I brush twice daily. Setup took one minute and the included heads were a nice bonus.

Bought this after my hygienist suggested something gentler. The soft head and sensitive mode are perfect when my gums feel tender, but I switch to the deeper clean on Sundays. I like that there’s no app to set up since I already have too many. The charger is small and fits on a crowded bathroom counter. I’ve used it for six weeks and the battery still shows plenty. Only tiny nitpick is I had to read the card to figure out the modes at first.

I switched from a basic manual brush after my hygienist suggested something with a pressure sensor, and this device has made brushing easier to stick with. The five modes are actually useful, I start on the sensitive one in the morning and use the deeper setting after dinner. The real time light nudge kept me from pressing down too hard, which I didn’t realize I did. The battery lasted 18 days for me, and the travel case felt sturdy in my suitcase. Simple charging and no app junk was a bonus.

I tried a fancy brush with an app before and returned it because it felt gimmicky. This one is straightforward and just works. The sensor is actually helpful, not annoying. Battery life surprised me, I charged it once since I bought it a month ago with twice daily use. My next cleaning should be easier, fingers crossed.
