I bought it for my mom who has sensitive gums and ends up pressing too much. She figured out the modes quickly and likes that the alert blinks when she presses down, so she eases off. The medium head worked best for her and she keeps the soft one for days after flossing. I tried it too and the clean felt even without hot spots. If it had a tiny stand for the extra heads it would be perfect but we just keep them in the case.
